A new type of button is coming to your home router.
PicoNet announced it is adding a button to the router that can be used to turn on the WPS network and enable Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other features.
Pete Condon, CEO of PicoNets, told us it’s a new kind of button that works by allowing you to use it remotely.
“The PicoLink WPS Button has been around for a few years now, and it is a great addition to our Wi-Gig network,” Condon said in a press release.
“With the addition of the new PicoPods WPS functionality, the PicoWPS Button can now be used with both the new and existing WPS networks, as well as all of the standard PicoNET routers.”
Our goal is to provide the best possible Wi-FI, Bluetooth, and WPS experience in our routers.
“You can find out more about the new button here.
The new button comes as a standalone accessory and can be purchased for $39.99.
It’s compatible with PicoConnect routers, including the PiroTec Pico, PiroNet Pico4 and PiroLink Piro 4.
PeroNets first product was the Piko WPS (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth) button, which can be plugged into your router to turn it on and use it for voice and text calling.
The new button works the same way.
PiroConnect and PicoTec devices are also available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
